I have one to add too . . .

Since we are posting pictures from the past, I have an old one with an updated twist. My friend Maritza, from my old work, saw on our family blog that Dad requested a new family picture that includes the new additions. She was so kind to add our new addition. I love it! Hilarious.

Since Jessica is posting politically incorrect material on our BLOB, I thought I would share some pictures that I just downloaded from our camera. Some of them are about a year old.

Some advice to all you Wives....

In light of the fact that Melody is getting married very soon I thought I would give some advice that I found to all you who are wives; although I am sure you all strictly adhere to these guidelines already. I never realized how important ribbons are to a good marriage. I will be getting you all ribbons for Christmas just to show my support for the lifestyle you have chosen.
This an actual article from Good Housekeeping in 1955. Who do you suppose wrote this?

You are probably going to have to click on this so it is big enough to read.

Boston Massacre and other thoughts ...by Scott Buchanan

1- I still hate the Yankees even if they destroyed the Red Sox in every game. 49 total runs in 5 games. I guess we can cheer on the Dodgers now right?
2- Alicia put Brielle in the shirt, I was at work and knew nothing about it.
3- Headlines in Boston also say Boston Massacre.
4- Randi gave us the shirt.
5- Did I mention I hate the Yankees.
6- BYU's high touted and top recruit Quarterback left BYU last year and is starting for UCLA this year. Congrats to him for going to a good team.
7- I am excited to be going to Eugene, OR and Seattle, WA.
8- Brie says "Ma ma ma ma ma", mostly when she doesn't want her face cleaned.
9- I am glad that the Red Sox waited until now to choke because College Football starts next week making the transition easier.
10- I can't wait for the Christmas in Bakersfield!

My Summer Vacation by Roger Allred

Could the Allred Loop be complete without a picture of Piko/Peeko, our newest baby? She poops just as well as Aiden & Brielle and she doesn't carry it with her

This is Sue and I on top of the Snowbird tram, 11,000 ft. above sea level. See all of the beautiful flowers. My favorite is the red & white one next to me.
Bryce, Sue, Kathrine and Krista on the San Fran cable car. Tawna & Colleen were in front of me. That picture didn't take - dumb camera. I kept trying to help Tawna get off but she held on too tight.

Katherine, Colleen and Sue eating crab cocktail at an outdoor mariscos restaurant in Half Moon Bay on the way home.My favorite things about our vacation in Utah/California.

10. Being with my family

9. I felt very good.

8. We celebrated Evan's and Alicia's birthdays at the egg jugglers place in Lehi. I was the best sea lion and caught two shrimp in my big mouth.

7. Celebrated Bryce's birthday at the Russian Renaissance in San Francisco. It only took a cable car, two bus rides and a walk to get there. We heard Russian, ate Russian and saw the Russian church.

6. Aiden's blessing and the family gathering at the Christensens. They are such wonderful hosts everytime we are in Utah. We probably won't bother them so much now.

5. Scott and Alicia hosted dinner at their place on Alicia's birthday. We had Scott's bbq chicken, corn on the cob and birthday pie.

4. We visited the #1 tourist attraction in Utah - temple square. I enjoyed it, in spite of Krista's "boring" comments. We ate at the Lion House. Does it seem that all we did was eat?

3. I got to spend time with Mom and she supervised the girl's dormitory.

2. Coming home to beautiful Bakersfield.

1. Spending time with my family.
