Sue cooked a wonderful dinner of shrimp scampi and fettucini alfredo. It was topped off with a glass of bubbly - root beer. We had candles and all. Of course, no celebration would be complete without Piko.

We laid on our new thermarests and mummy bags and tried to figure out how the young'uns are able to take a picture of themselves.
We built a fire and enjoyed TWO movies, practicing for Mt. Whitney.
And a good time was had by all.

That really does look like a GREAT night together. Nothing like our romantical evening in the hospital, but still. Happy Valentine's Day to the love birds.
P.S. I don't know how to take a picture of myself either. I blame it on short arms.
um there is this convenient little thing called self timer on all modern cameras...
